SUMMARY:Febb Burn Banquet 2026
DESCRIPTION:2026 FEBB BURN BANQUET\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOne Vote - One Letter\n\nWho is Febb Burn?  And why is Febb Burn a key player in the Suffrage Movement.\n\nThe woman whose letter gave 27 million women the right to vote \nHistory books often focus on the front lines\, but the "War of the Roses" was won by a mother’s pen. Febb Burn’s simple plea to her son\, Harry\, provided the tie-breaking vote needed to ratify the 19th Amendment. We invite you to sponsor a table for our Febb Burn Dinner as we celebrate the woman who ensured the "Perfect 36" state and secured our place at the ballot box. \n\n\nIn honor of the "Perfect 36\," each table will be dedicated to an individual suffragist\, celebrating the courageous women who paved the way to the 19th Amendment. Join us as we honor the legacy of Febb Burn and the heroes of the movement.  \n\n\n \nWomen's Suffrage Museum Events & Cultural Center will hold this dinner on August 18 to commemorate the exact day in 1920 when Tennessee became the "Perfect 36." As the 36th and final state needed to ratify the 19th Amendment\, Tennessee held the tie-breaking vote that forever changed the face of American democracy.   \nPlease Join us.  Limited Seating.\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nTony Award–Winning “Suffs” Producer Rachel Sussman to be Keynote Speaker at the 2026 ‘Febb Burn’ Dinner\n\n\n\nIn recognition of Women’s History Month\, the Women’s Suffrage Museum – Events & Cultural Center and the Suffrage Coalition are proud to announce Rachel Sussman\, Tony Award–winning creative producer and lead producer of the acclaimed Broadway musical Suffs\, will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Febb Burn Dinner.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsor a Suffragist Table\nWE ARE NOW COMPLETELY SOLD OUT.
