Mission statement for Suffrage Coalition Inc.’s Project: Women’s Suffrage Museum – Events & Culture Center - Locate and preserve the epic history of the movement that brought democracy to the other half of our citizens. Use accurate, immersive storytelling to inspire future generations to value their rights and faithfully perform their duties as citizens.

  • Along with Lucretia Mott, she was the impetus for the Seneca Falls Convention.

  • Wrote the Declaration of Sentiments which triggered a nation wide movement for women’s rights.

  • Brilliant, devoted, mother of seven: 5 boys and 2 girls.

  • Wrote hundreds of speeches for Susan B. Anthony.

  • Co-wrote the History of Woman Suffrage with Susan B. Anthony.
